Nueva York, NY– Esta temporada, Teatro SEA y el Grupo Morán se complacen en anunciar el nuevo estreno de Víspera de Reyes, la nueva divertida canción de temporada de fin de año, acompañada de un video tiernamente elaborado. Este nuevo sencillo, inspirado en las tradiciones hispanas del día de los Tres Reyes Magos, al igual que el video con animaciones stop-motion que le acompaña, producido por Kadoosh y dirigido por Ugo Conti, se lanzarán oficialmente por el canal de YouTube: SEA Kids Network y en todas las grandes plataformas digitales, el 1ro de diciembre de 2022.
Víspera de Reyes fue realizada por la banda musical de la serie web de Teatro SEA El Avión The Airplane en el canal de YouTube SEA Kids Network, el cual tiene más de un millón de vistas desde su lanzamiento en el año 2021. La canción marca el más reciente estreno de El Avión The Airplane, que cuenta con su primer álbum A Volar/Let’s Fly disponible en Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, y más. Cani, Lupo, Rosi y Grumpy son los coloridos monstruos que vienen de diferentes partes del mundo y le dan a la banda su sonido y estilo único. La producción musical, orquestación y masterización musical son lideradas por el director musical y productor Dr. Manuel Calzada (Puerto Rico).
“Esta canción lleva consigo un mensaje especial de temple y esperanza”, explica Calzada, quien estuvo a cargo de la producción musical, junto a muchos músicos talentosos. La música de concierto de Calzada ha sido ejecutada por orquestas sinfónicas, ensembles de cámara y solistas a lo largo de norteamerica, latinoamerica y europa. Además de producir música para muchos artistas, Calzada también ha compuesto, arreglado, conducido y realizado música para películas, comerciales de televisión y teatro.
La canción fue escrita por Manuel A. Morán. “El día de los tres reyes magos es una festividad tradicional muy importante en las familias hispanas y una de las favoritas entre nuestros niños. Víspera de Reyes es una canción alegre para cantar, divertirse y bailar, mientras celebramos nuestras tradiciones y nuestra riqueza musical”. Agrega Morán.
Ugo Conti, director del video musical dice, “ Nuestras tradiciones son como un gran abrazo que se puede sentir sin importar el tiempo o la distancia”.
La labor de stop-motion fue lograda por la compañía Mexicana “Kadoosh”, basada en Puebla, creada por Ugo Conti, Jorge Ayanegui, y Miguel Cadena, con la misión de crear proyectos audiovisuales impresionantes, especialmente de estilo stop-motion. Ha encabezado proyectos para Western Union, Bancoppel, Laboratories Mayoli, Zir Fos NC, y recientemente un video para Reno871. Conti es un constante innovador de técnicas de animación, siendo la cabeza de la primera y única compañía que usa movimiento magnético, una técnica inventada por el mismo Conti. “Esperamos que este proyecto llegue a muchos hogares y toque el corazón de muchos niños”, agrega Conti.

Víspera de Reyes trata de la noche antes del Día de los Reyes Magos. En esta noche, los niños hispanos alrededor del mundo se preparan con anticipación a que lleguen los reyes magos a traerles regalos mientras duermen. A pesar de que los orígenes de la festividad están basadas en la teología cristiana, este día festivo ha evolucionado hasta convertirse en una tradición del folklore hispano; es tan importante como todos los otros grandes días festivos y es una de las tradiciones anuales favoritas entre las familias hispanas.

Manuel A Morán & El Avión The Airplane’s new Holiday Single “Víspera de Reyes” is now available!
New York, NY– This season, Teatro SEA and The Morán Group are excited to announce the release of “Víspera de Reyes,” a new cheerful holiday song alongside a lovingly crafted music video. This holiday single–inspired by Hispanic traditions on the night before Three Kings Day– along with its accompanying stop-motion music video, produced by Kadoosh and directed by Ugo Conti, will officially launch on all major platforms and via the SEA Kids Network YouTube Channel on December 1st, 2022.
“Víspera de Reyes” is performed by the members of the band from Teatro SEA’s web-series El Avión The Airplane on SEA Kids Network, the YouTube channel which has more than one million views since its launch in 2021. The song marks the newest release by El Avión The Airplane, which has its first album “A Volar/Let’s Fly” available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and more. Cani, Lupo, Rosi and Grumpy are the colorful puppet monsters from different parts of the world that give the band a unique flair and sound. Leading the musical production, orchestration and album mastering is Musical Director and Producer Dr. Manuel Calzada (Puerto Rico).
“This song carries a special message of encouragement and hope,” explains Calzada, who was in charge of the musical production alongside many talented musicians. Calzada’s concert music has been performed by symphonic orchestras, chamber ensembles and soloists throughout North America, Latin America and Europe. In addition to producing music for many recording artists, he has also composed, arranged, conducted and performed music for films, TV commercials and theater.
The song was written by Manuel A. Morán. “The Three Kings Day is a very important hispanic family tradition and a favorite among our children. ‘Víspera de Reyes’ is a cheerful song to sing-along, to have fun and to dance, while celebrating our traditions and our musical richness.” adds Morán.
Ugo Conti, the director of the music video says, “Our traditions are like a hug that can be felt, no matter the time or distance.”
The detailed stop-motion work was accomplished by the Puebla, Mexico-based production company “Kadoosh,” created by Ugo Conti, Jorge Ayanegui, and Miguel Cadena with the mission to create stunning audiovisual projects, mainly in the stop-motion style. They have spear-headed projects for Western Union, Bancoppel, Laboratories Mayoli, Zir Fos NC, and most recently a video for Reno871. Ugo is a constant innovator of animation techniques, being the head of the first and only company to use “Magnet Motion,” a technique invented by Conti himself. “We hope that this project will reach many homes and touch the hearts of many children,” Conti adds.

“Víspera de Reyes” is about the night before Three Kings Day, or Día de los Reyes Magos. On the eve of Three Kings Day, Hispanic children all around the world prepare in anticipation for the Three Kings to come and deliver presents to them while the children are sleeping. Although the origins of the holiday are based on events from Christian theology, the holiday has evolved to become more closely tied to Hispanic folklore and tradition. It is just as important as the other major holidays, and is a favorite annual tradition within Hispanic families.
