Cabaret is back on Thursday nights at Punto SEA, an intimate space within Teatro SEA featuring a range of live performers.
The weekly series of Latinx acts includes burlesque, cabaret, music, poetry, stand-up comedy and performance art, and offers a new way for adults to experience Teatro SEA’s newest venue and a diverse range of talent.
“Punto SEA is our newest space, designed for an intimate and relaxed live performance experience. We are showcasing smaller diverse acts every week so audience members get to watch Latinx talent up close, with a drink in hand!” said Dr. Manuel Morán, founder, CEO and artistic director of Teatro SEA. “This is a space where we can welcome just grown-ups and introduce an impressive array of talent in our community.”
Punto SEA performances happen every Thursday evening from 8-11pm. A full bar and food offerings are available for purchase.

Pablo Lanouguere is an Argentine bassist & composer based in NYC since 2013. His compositions contain the richness of the music from Argentina, and presents its elements in these elaborated and powerful arrangements, that are definitely a fresh approach to this music, while at the same time never loses the connection to his roots. The Quintet features: Meg Okura: Violin, Federico Diaz: Guitar, Emilio Teubal: Piano, Franco Pinna: Drums, & Pablo Lanouguere: Bass & Compositions.

Cruz and Flórez will present an evening of original music by Sebastián Cruz in an acoustic, intimate and informal setting. Part of the New Colombian Music movement here in New York, both are world-class guitarists and incorporate elements of jazz and improvisation into their vast knowledge of Latin American guitar traditions. // Sebastián Cruz y Alejandro Flórez son importantes exponentes del movimiento de Nueva Música Colombiana aquí en Nueva York. Ambos son guitarristas de primer nivel e incorporan elementos de jazz e improvisación a su vasto conocimiento de tradiciones guitarrísticas Latinoamericanas.
