Celebrating Puerto Rican culture with art, theater, music, and more!
New York, NY (September 2024) – Teatro SEA, Teatro LATEA, CENTRO (Center for Puerto Rican Studies of CUNY), and The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural & Educational Center, take great pride in announcing the arrival of BORIMIX 2024, a month-long celebration dedicated to the vibrant arts, music, and cultures of Puerto Rico. Spanning the entire month of November, BORIMIX 2024 promises extraordinary examples of Puerto Rican culture with a theme of Nuyorican Splendor.
This festival will present a captivating array of performances, encompassing theatrical productions, live music concerts, dance exhibitions, and art displays, all of which will grace various venues throughout New York City. Audiences are invited to become fully immersed in the rich traditions, stories, and expressions of Puerto Rican heritage.

BORIMIX 2024 Gala and award ceremony will take place on Friday, November 22th, 2024 at 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The ceremony will be held at The Silberman School of Social Work Auditorium, 2180 3rd Ave, New York (Home of CENTRO – Center for Puerto Rican Studies of CUNY).

El Festival BORIMIX 2024 Regresa Este Noviembre
¡Celebrando la cultura puertorriqueña con arte, teatro, música y más!
Nueva York, NY (Septiembre de 2024) – Teatro SEA, Teatro LATEA, CENTRO (Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños de CUNY) y el Centro Cultural y Educativo Clemente Soto Vélez se enorgullecen en anunciar la llegada de BORIMIX 2024, una celebración de un mes de duración dedicada a las vibrantes artes, música y culturas de Puerto Rico. A lo largo de todo el mes de noviembre, BORIMIX 2024 promete ofrecer extraordinarios ejemplos de la cultura puertorriqueña bajo el tema “Esplendor Nuyorriqueño”.
Este festival presentará una cautivadora gama de presentaciones, abarcando producciones teatrales, conciertos de música en vivo, exhibiciones de danza y exposiciones de arte, que se llevarán a cabo en diversos espacios a lo largo de la ciudad de Nueva York. El público está invitado a sumergirse por completo en las ricas tradiciones, historias y expresiones del patrimonio puertorriqueño.

BORIMIX 2024 comenzará sus festividades el viernes, 22 de noviembre de 2024, de 6:30 PM a 9:00 PM con una ceremonia de apertura y entrega de premios. La ceremonia se llevará a cabo en el Auditorio de la Escuela de Trabajo Social Silberman, 2180 3ra Ave, Nueva York (hogar de CENTRO – Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños de CUNY). Si bien muchos de los eventos de BORIMIX son gratuitos, algunos requieren boletos para la entrada.
